Exciting News - Step It Up Crew turned 10 years old in June 2023! I have been teaching these classes for over 17 years but the SIUC name was introduced in 2013. Check out our 10 year promo video on our Youtube Channel!
2025 Enrolments - ARE NOW OPEN! Enrolments are for the current calendar year and children can start any time throughout the term.
Term 1 Dates - Tuesday 28 January - Thursday 3 March (10 weeks) Monday 27 Jan is a public holiday.
Parent Viewing Dates - Family and friends are welcome to come along and watch the classes in week 5 and 10 of each term. This is a great opportunity to see what the kids have been learning, but please make sure you remain quiet throughout the whole lesson and siblings are to remain seated. Please also keep in mind to not be on your phone the whole time as students look a lot to their parents to see if they are watching them do their cool moves.

Concerts - Children have the opportunity to perform in our fun, low key concerts twice a year! Thank you to all those involved in our last concert in November 2024 OLD SCHOOL JAMS - it was so much fun! The next one is on Saturday 14 June 2025 - IT'S A HOEDOWN. Please check with Miss Sian in class for rehearsals times and any other information required. Tickets will be on sale 2 weeks before concert. Concert venue is at Edge Hill State School Performing Arts Centre (Pease Street entrance).
ALSO A SIDE NOTE THAT EACH CONCERT AND MAJOR EVENT, STUDENTS RECEIVE A COLOURED SIUC WRISTBAND. COLLECT 10 DIFFERENT COLOURS AND STUDENT RECEIVES A FREE TERM OF DANCE AND THIER CHOICE OF COLOURED UNIFORM SHIRT!
Bring A Friend - Students are welcome to bring a friend to the last week of every term.
Uniforms - A reminder that students in Levels 3-6 must wear their full uniform to class each week (Red SIUC shirt, black leggings or shorts, any colour shoes and socks).
Missed Classes - If your child misses a class you are more than welcome to do a make up lesson any time through out the year.
Parent Details - If your phone number or email address changes throughout the year, please let Miss Sian know asap.

Fun Fact - Ever wondered how Step It Up Crew got its name? After buying into a children's entertainment business in 2011, 2 years later Miss Sian felt the older hip hop classes needed a different name. So she asked all her students at the time to put their "crew" suggestion names in and she will choose the one she liked best. Tara from Saturday Level 5 suggested the name 'Step It Up' and at the 2013 June concert, A Pirate's Life, the name STEP IT UP CREW was announced.
